DNB Tutoring is dedicated to offering specialized tutoring services to underrepresented individuals in our community, with a specific emphasis on Math and Computer Science subjects. Our goal is to increase accessibility to education by providing affordable rates, while also addressing the needs of bilingual students whose parents may encounter difficulties in navigating school subjects due to English not being their primary language. We have strategically chosen to conduct our sessions at the local library during after-school hours, ensuring a convenient and secure environment for our students.

What sets us apart from many tutors in the area is our expertise. Unlike most who are college students, both my husband and I possess software engineering degrees and have extensive experience in the field. This unique background enables us to offer not only comprehensive tutoring but also to share real-world insights and practical knowledge with our students. As an immigrant myself, we both deeply understand the value of education and the significance of providing support to individuals facing their own set of unique challenges

Our target audience at D&B Tutoring Services is focused on low-income and bilingual communities. We aim to provide extra support to grade-level students throughout the school year. Our services and plans are designed to cater to different income levels and tutoring needs. While we strive to keep our prices competitive, we are also committed to offering a sliding scale option for students whose families cannot afford additional assistance. In addition to that, we will be focusing on teaching math at various levels to middle and high school students in our local area. Furthermore, we will be extending our support to college students who require assistance in their introductory Computer Science classes. Our goal is to ensure that students of all backgrounds have access to the guidance and resources they need to excel academically.

 ⏰  ❌ Tardiness and Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way or you just need to take a mental health day. You will have until 8 hours before your appointment to cancel. If you cancel 8 hours or less than when your lesson is held, you will be billed and no make up credit will be given. If there is an emergency or you had an unexpected illness that prevents you from letting us know within the time in this policy, it is possible to receive make up credit if proper documentation is received. It will be at the discretion of DNB tutoring whether an event is considered a valid excuse.

At DNB Tutoring, the safety and security of our students are paramount. As a family-run tutoring service, we personally oversee and facilitate all virtual sessions, ensuring a secure and nurturing learning environment. We employ robust encryption and data protection measures to safeguard all online interactions. Additionally, all virtual sessions are conducted in a monitored and supervised manner, and we encourage open communication with parents or guardians for students under 18. Your privacy and security are our top priorities, and we are dedicated to providing a worry-free virtual learning experience.
